Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage. This page explains which ones ClickWebTools uses.

Strictly necessary

  • Theme preference (local storage): remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
  • Session cookie on the contact page: protects the form against cross-site request forgery. It expires when you close your browser.
  • cwt_sid (session cookie): keeps you signed in after you sign in to an account. HttpOnly and Secure; ends when you close your browser or after 7 days without activity.
  • cwt_auth: a flag with the value 1 that tells pages to show “Account” instead of “Sign in”. It contains no personal information.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (if enabled): may set a cookie during the security check on forms to tell people from bots.

Analytics (if enabled)

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies whose names begin with _ga to count visits and tool usage. They typically last up to two years.

Advertising (if enabled)

Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure performance. Personalized ads use information about your visits to this and other sites.

Managing cookies

  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may stop the contact form from working.
  • Control personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
  • Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.

Changes

We will update this page if the cookies we use change.
