Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This policy explains what information ClickWebTools (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, how we use it and the choices you have.
Information you enter into tools
Calculators, converters, text tools and developer tools process your input in your browser. We do not receive, store or log the numbers, dates or text you type into them. Our analytics record that a tool was used, but never the content you entered.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are retained according to the host’s schedule.
- Analytics: if enabled, Google Analytics 4 collects usage data such as pages viewed, tool usage events, approximate location derived from IP address, device type and referring site. We use it in aggregate to understand which tools are useful.
- Advertising: if enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
Information you give us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use them only to respond to you and keep them for up to 12 months unless a longer period is needed to resolve your request. We also briefly store a hashed form of your IP address to limit spam.
Accounts
Accounts are optional; every tool works without one. If you create an account we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), the date you joined and your last sign-in. We use them only to run your account. To change your details or delete your account and its data, use the contact page.
Security checks
Sign-up, sign-in and contact forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Cookies
We store your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. Analytics and advertising cookies are described in our Cookie Policy, along with how to control them.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with service providers that run the site for us (hosting, analytics, advertising). Google’s use of data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices and rights
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and of other participating vendors at aboutads.info.
- You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Depending on your state of residence, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others, you may have the right to know, access, correct or delete personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those laws define them. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required. To make a request, use the contact page.
Children
ClickWebTools is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are validated and protected against automated abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
